Waiting for Spring was a two month selling exhibition at Trestle Arts Base.
Exhibition
The main exhibition contained porcelain pendants and brooches, earthenware dishes and bowls, vases with highly textured printed surfaces, and 'bird boxes' - small dioramas of porcelain birds and landscapes.
Installation
It included a large scale installation piece - 'The tree of all seeds' - inspired by an ancient creation myth. This comprised porcelain discs impressed with germinating seed designs hung from a coppiced tree under which sprouted hundreds of porcelain seedlings. The installation was made in collaboration with Karen Tinkler.
